Aesthetics25 was a fabulous 2 day masterclass organised by top Sydney plastic surgeon Dr Steven Liew. With quick fire presentations and live injecting onstage, the 400 injectors from all over the Asia Pacific region were engaged and enthralled.
Focuses were the “tricky” areas around the eyes and around the mouth. The latest products and techniques focus on rebuilding the framework of the skin structure, essentially turning back the clock on skin aging.
There was an exciting launch of Botox ® for platysmal (neck band) prominence, which aims to reduce the downward pull of muscles which are much stronger than gravity, and can potentially help with jawline definition and jowl reduction.
New areas and techniques for Profhilo were showcased, including around the mouth and around the eyes, concentrating on improving the quality of the skin.

Botox ® is a Prescription Medicine containing 100 units of clostridium botulinum type A complex for injection. It is used for the treatment of severe frown lines and associated ‘crows feet’ around the eyes. It should be administered only by trained medical professionals.
